'After the Credits' is a monthly gathering where women and girls (ages 12+) come together to watch a powerful film or documentary—and then stay for what matters most: the connection, the reflection, and the conversations that happen after the credits roll.

We’re creating a space where women can:
-
Feel safe to be real—whether that means laughter, tears, or quiet reflection
-
Learn and grow through stories that expand empathy and understanding
-
Connect across generations (12 to 99) and feel less alone
-
Practice respectful, compassionate conversation—even when we have different experiences or viewpoints
-
Leave feeling grounded, inspired, and more connected to community
Each month features a different deep and meaningful topic.
Some evenings will include guided small-group discussion, and other nights may include a panel of professional speakers who help us explore the themes with care, insight, and real-life perspective.
Themes may include:
-
Friendship, belonging, and healthy relationships
-
Mental health, resilience, and healing
-
Womanhood, identity, and life transitions
-
Body image, self-worth, and confidence
-
Grief, forgiveness, and hope
-
Courage, leadership, and purpose
-
Culture, community, and compassion
-
Anti-oppression advocacy against racism, sexism, classism, heterosexism and more
Stories help us feel, remember, and understand. Film gives us a shared experience—and then the conversation helps us make meaning from it.
That’s the magic of 'After the Credits'.
